This chassis was designed on the basis of the extensive experience of MZKT OJSC in the development of special-purpose chassis intended for mounting of coil-tubing equipment. The main distinctive feature of the five-axle all-wheel drive MZKT-830001-010 chassis is the design of its frame that comprises a superframe and a subframe. The subframe hosts most of the chassis assemblies which gives the customer complete freedom of choice of rigs mounted on the superframe. The chassis uses own-built axles of increased bearing capacity. The vehicle which has the fully loaded weight of 74 tons is able to carry equipment weighing up to 50 tons. The suspension of the two front axles is of the rigid-axle hydro-pneumatiс type, and that of the three rear axles – of the rigid-axle pneumatic equalizing lever type. The vehicle is driven by the 420 hp diesel engine paired with the own-built manual transmission. The chassis carries two 500-liter fuel tanks that support switchover, as well as the central tire inflation system controlled from the driver cabin.
