On June 9, 2023, in Minsk, a show of vehicles was held as part of Electric Transport Day EV DAY-2023.At the National Library square, OJSC MZKT demonstrated its Neman-420351-183 electric bus. The showcased exhibit is the result of the Company’s pilot project mainly aimed at the formation of new competences in the sphere of electric vehicle development.
The electric bus was developed on the basis of chassis of our commercially produced Neman-4202 bus. The product is equipped with a traction electric motor with the output of 125 kW and the torque of 650 Nm paired with a single-stage reduction gearbox also developed by MZKT OJSC. The electric bus features 6 Li-ion batteries with the aggregate capacity of 277 Ah. Design cruising range is 230 kilometers. The charging system uses the CCS Combo 2 socket available at the majority of charging station throughout the country. The socket makes it possible to quick-charge the bus in just three to four hours while regular charging takes eight to twelve hours.
Presently, the product is undergoing a series of test.
