Within the scope of the order of Uralmash and SLC Group companies, Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (Volat) develops the new chassis with the axle configuration 14x14 capable to carry mobile drilling rigs, having the load capacity up to 200 tons.
The weight of mounted equipment shall be about 55 tons. In accordance with the modern safety requirements, the chassis will be provided with two Caterpillar C15 engines, 580 hp each, and two Allison hydromechanic gearboxes using the summing reducing gear to integrate the torque.
The first piece of new chassis is expected to be submitted for factory tests already in June, 2014.
