On November 3, the 7th Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum concluded. In 2023, more than 20 thousand participants representing 53 countries took part in the IGF; the business agenda included 90 events on various topics – from international cooperation and import substitution to occupational safety and engagement of young professionals. Seven hundred and fifty professionals of the industry addressed themed sessions, conference meetings and round tables. Exhibitions organized as part of the IGF occupied all the area of the Expoforum: more than 600 companies displayed their technologies for the gas industry over the area of 48000 sq. m. The Forum was covered by representatives of 200 media.Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant OJSC took active participation in the business program of the Forum, the Company held a number of presentations of its products, and business discussions with both its active and potential customers and partners, as well as several meetings with contractors and suppliers.
Along with scale models of the most sought-after Volat vehicles for the oil and gas industry displayed at the Company's stand, the visitors and participants of the Forum could study full-scale exhibits of our coil-tubing station based on MZKT-65276-231 chassis exhibited by partners of MZKT OJSC, Fidmash JSJSC and the Fid Group in the outdoors exhibition area.
One of the most rewarding occurrences of the IGS 2023 was the signing of the cooperation agreement between the long-standing partner of MZLT OJSC, GAKZ JSC Company and PJSC Gazprom. The agreement was aimed at the improvement of the transportation support system and the increase of the share of domestically produced vehicles employed by Gazprom. In particular, the agreement provided for the development of the 100-ton truck crane Galichanin based on VOLAT chassis. On the very next day following the signing of the agreement, a face-to-face meeting of the workgroup established to aid the development of the truck crane was held. The session was participated by department heads of PJSC Gazprom and the leaders of GAKZ JSC and MZKT OJSC. During the session, the stages of the project implementation were discussed and certain key resolutions were made pertaining to the arrangement and vision of the new range of the heavy cranes whose declared load-lifting properties would not make them inferior to similar imported vehicles.
The meetings held and arrangements made during the IGF 2023 open new horizons to future advancement of MZKT OJSC.
